Duties for this Accountant opportunity include:
Prepare monthly financial statements; Prepare cash forecasts and analyses; Review and monitor receivable accounts; Respond to requests for financial information; Prepare budgets; Prepare construction draws and monitor lien documents and waivers; Prepare year end workpapers; Maintain general ledgers.
RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and review monthly financial statements and the workpapers used to support the financial statements.
Prepare, review and approve bank reconciliations.
Prepare cash forecasts and cash needs analyses as needed.
Assist in Treasury Management and Investment Management of financial assets.
Review and monitor receivable accounts and take action as necessary to collect billings and receivables.
Oversee timely payment of loan obligations.
Respond to requests for financial information from owners, limited partners and lenders.
Assist in the preparation and review of annual operating budgets.
Participate in the accounts payable process.
Assist in the preparation and review of construction draws and monitor lien documents and waivers.
Assist in the preparation and review of year-end workpapers for CPA's.
Work with the Corporate Accountant and the Corporate Accounting Assistant and assure that general ledger activity is maintained.
Maintain strong internal controls in all financial related activities and develop internal control guidelines as needed.
Work to ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.

Qualifications Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work under tight deadlines, manage priorities and complete tasks with minimal follow up and oversight.
Bachelor's Degree in accounting and/or finance.
Three years' experience in financial accounting.
Proficient at working in a fast-paced multi-entity environment and meeting financial reporting deadlines.
Keen analytical skills and attention to detail with strong financial analysis and knowledge.
Proficient skills at utilizing computer hardware and utilizing Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Outlook.
All candidates must have a valid driver's license and own transportation.
